Shawn grew up on the Great Barrier Reef, Cairns, Australia, fishing and scuba diving with his father on school holidays, was the start to a spectacular life in the Big Game Fishing industry. His apprenticeship was with Peter B Wright, Ron Hamlin (Capt. Hook), Dennis Brazakka Wallace and Laurie Wright just to name a few in some of the hottest fishing locations in the world. Now with over 34 years experience and 20 Marlin weighed over 1000lb and 18 granders and hundreds of 500 to 900lb marlin released, the experience needed to catch these big fish is not a problem.
